TRX Marine has been awarded by Norwegian AQS for building the Battery Hybrid Catamaran service vessel that can operate on fully electric, zero emission.
The design of the vessel has been developed by the Scottish design company Macduff and Skagen Ship Consulting in cooperation with AQS, and the vessel will be the first turn-key project for TRX to build for AQS.
The Vessel will be powered by batteries with DC Electric system and diesel fuel generators, capable of sailing on green energy, which will reduce emissions. These systems will provide the required power for the vessel’s propulsion, positioning, and main workboat operations for fish farms.
TRX would like to thanks to AQS and SSC for the good cooperation and looking forward to accomplishing such innovative and pioneer Service Vessel together with Macduff Design, SSC and AQS.
